O & P makes braces or prosthetics by taking a cast or a digital scan of your body, then 3D printing, carving, or doing plaster work to make a custom shaped device just for you!

Orthotic appointments usually require a casting/scanning appointment, a delivery appointment, and then a follow-up appointment to ensure everything is going well.

Prosthetic appointments usually require a casting/scanning appointment, a diagnostic appointment to ensure a good fit, a delivery appointment, and a follow up appointment to ensure appropriate function.

About Billing

O & P billing is different than other medical care. It is billed based on HCPC codes and only when service is physically provided. There are no co-pays or co-insurances for visits. Instead, HCPC “L” Codes include average costs for the evaluation, casting, fabrication of the device, and any follow up visits that are required for 3 months after delivery. We only bill for service when we deliver an item or repair a device. Typically, the only same-day billing that you might see would be for a pre-fabricated item, or for same day repair of a device.
